

This is the season of bikinis, trunks and the smell of cocoa butter lotions. The preparing of thousands for the displaying of baring of skin by the pools and beaches, some of the skin baring is intentional while some is not, as we may hear while we stoop over to tie a shoe or pick up a beach chair.
My beautiful wife and daughter would often remind me of this using the phase, “Crack attack!” They both meant in the tongue-in-cheek humor that’s one reasons I love about the two of them. However it appeared that, I did not have to wait until summer to hear this from my lovely ladies. All I needed was a pair of slacks and reason to stoop over. However this sheds a little light on the topic of today.
The list of health risks of excess body fat appears to growing daily, from stress on the lower back on to stress on the vital organs, heart, liver, and kidneys to name a few. The methods and struggles to reach our beach what-ta-be bodies can be just as dangerous. Methods ranging from unsafe fasting to over indulgent of diet pills, drinks, shakes and so on. I commend anyone decides to grab hold of their health, noticed I said health and follow a safe sensible method to reach our fitness goals. One main ingredient that most methods that are advertised appears to leave out is time. There is NO overnight fixes that will change us, man or woman from excess body fat to super lean. Even surgeries require time for recovery. We need to training our bodies, safely and continuity not seasonally. Fitness is preventive maintenance of the body for life.
