    • “What supplements do you use?”, is the by far most frequently asked question I hear from people at the gym.
    • “What ‘health store’ should I buy my supplements from?”, is the next that is not trailing too far behind.

In my opinion most supplements are not needed IF your food intake is healthy. Please note that I said FOOD.

It can be difficult to get your 1 gram of protein per pound of body-weight while keeping your calories within your calorie budget, however the expenses in buying supplements at the “health stores”could really affect your performance ability in the wallet.

Please keep in mind the term supplement is to accompany your present food intake. Sort of a “Top off” in areas of need.

The only supplement that I personally use is a protein powder. I add it to my regular food in order to reach my needed protein level. In addition my powder is purchased from a grocery store not a so called “health store” for a faction of the price in comparison, I may add.

I suggest to consume as much of regular food as possible to meet your needs before you interject any nutritional supplements in your diet.
